Virtual Climate Network (VCSN) timeseries

Virtual Climate Station Network (VCSN) data are estimates of daily rainfall, potential evapotranspiration, air and vapour pressure, maximum and minimum air temperature, 10cm earth temperature, relative humidity, solar radiation, wind speed and soil moisture on a regular (~5km) grid covering New Zealand.

This webpage provides VCSN timeseries data as 'data packets' of all 11 timeseries for one location.

The data is available under certain licence arrangements and incur fees (Why?).

Data access per user account is limited to 30 datasets (30 locations) for one region (Why?).

Note that the data is updated on a monthly cycle and the period of available data is clearly noted on the data product.
